The Original Bedsore Rescue “Backbone” Turning and Positioning Support Wedge Cushion is designed to support the most comfortable and stable pressure relieved 30-degree turned position to offload the sensitive tailbone and sacrum area, as recommended by The National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel.
Small size features the same unique convex curvature and rounded ends design. The shorter and thinner (25″ long x 11″ wide 4″ at the back to 1.25″ at the front) is designed for pediatric or adults weighing less than 100lbs and/or less than 5 feet tall. Use for children between 4 feet and 5 feet tall. Also helpful for very thin, frail body frames because it has a softer feel and more gradual, gentle lift. Ok to set under hips, legs, or as needed to support contractraced limbs or back.
